How to add a shortcut to the side pane in Ubuntu
It's not a big deal! The problem with this is, we can't find out the way to do it. If you have used Windows, some of their versions have the ability to drag and drop any folder from the explorer area to the side-pane and it will be be automatically created as a short-cut.In Ubuntu, I was trying the same thing but it didn't work. But I found the method! The bookmarks you saved are going to be shown in the side-pane. So what you have is just 'bookmark' your folder which need to be shown in the side-pane.
For that,
- Go to that folder (inside of it)
- In the Menu bar go to the bookmarks --> Bookmark this location
Or you can use the short-cut : Ctrl+D
Enjoy...
